The following is a cheat sheet of information which may be handy to know before you go.
Location
Geek Mania is being held at the Angel Centre, Angel Ln, Tonbridge TN9 1SF
The main entrance to the Angel Centre is at the side of the building as shown on the map below:
Please keep in mind that parking in Tonbridge is chargeable on a Sunday. We’ve highlighted the long stay car parks available near the venue on the map.
Entry
Doors open at 10am. In order to enter the event, you will need to show the Eventbrite QR code, which would have been sent to you after making your ticket payment. We’ll need to scan this to let you in! Please ensure you bring your QR code, either on your smartphone or printed. Geek Mania finishes at 4pm.
What to bring
To get the most out of all of the activities offered at Geek Mania, you’ll likely need to bring some things with you.
If you are planning to use the TCG free play area, please bring your own TCG decks with you, so you can play against others. Decks for TCG free play will not be provided by Geek Mania.
If you are planning to use the boardgame free play area, there will be a small selection of games available, so if you have a favourite boardgame you’d like to play, please bring it with you.
For the TCG Trade Area, you will need to bring your TCG trades with you, simply… so you can trade with others.
If you’re interested in partaking in the miniature painting table, we’ll have a small amount of unpainted miniatures available, but if you have your own, we highly recommend you bring them with you.
Also, bring a bag with you to carry all the good stuff you are going to buy from our vendors and artists.
And don’t forget, cosplay is very much welcomed at Geek Mania, so don your best outfit before you head out the door.
Activities
We have a truly wonderful range of activities for you to take part in at Geek Mania, however, please be aware that some activities may be very popular and you may have to be patient and wait your turn for them.
Vendors and Artist
The majority of our vendors and artists will take both cash and card payments, however, some might opt to only take one or the other, so we suggest that you bring both forms of payment with you.
Food and Drink
We have several food and drink vendors at Geek Mania, including JoJo Cakes Bakery, OhMyDoh and Kent Coffee Shack inside the venue, as well as The Bakers Pizza Van, which will be located just outside the venue.
TCG Trading Corner
The TCG trading area is for everyone to enjoy and make some great trades, however, we do ask that you follow some simple rules when making trades. Please see the TCG Trade Corner Rules for details.
